Lunar Lament

Summary:	Life in Equestria comes to a grinding halt upon the surprise return of an ancient foe. A princess finds herself brought to the forefront of the conflict, as she must help guide the chosen heroes on an uncertain journey to save their land and friends.
About:	I officially caught the MLP bug, and walking around at work I dreamt up all sorts of interesting plot points for an adventure story involving the characters. And so, here it is. I'm pretty sure the plot has been done before, but it hasn't been done by ME! Haha. This will be my first multi-chapter story in quite a while, and I definitely intend to finish it. This work should also lead into more MLP-related things in the future. If you are part of the herd, then I hope you enjoy, and watch for more!

My First Party

Summary:	Pinkie Pie is haunted by feelings of self-hatred, stemming from the day she left her family to be on her own. Never wanting to see her best friend in a crazed state of distress again, Rainbow Dash resolves to reconnect her with her estranged family and bring an end to the personal demons once and for all.
About:	I thought up a lot of ideas revolving around a semi-tragic Pinkie backstory, as well as what her family went on to do in the many years since she's been away from them. So, that's where this story comes in. I added in some PinkieDash shipping for effect as well, although it's not the focal point of the story. They're just such a good pairing! I hope the fanon I create for the family comes across good as well.

Summary:	Princess Luna makes a surprise visit to Ponyville to spend some time with the girls who freed her. The royal pony's incredibly cheerful demeanor quickly leads to much confusion and amusement among all parties involved.
About:	This is a big ol' fic I wrote for the "Happy Luna Contest" at Equestria Daily. Writing Princess Luna in such a bubbly, silly, happy state of being was an absolute blast. I tend to prefer her in some other personalities, but this was definitely a fun exercise. She makes an adorable proto-Pinkie, as it were. I love how the whole thing came together. Also, do a Youtube search for "Cool Guy has Chill Day" if you want to see where I got a little inspiration from.

It was so relieving and refreshing to see Luna so happy that I had to add this to favorites before I finished. Summary:	Lyra's public performances continue to fail to draw the crowds she needs to kickstart her career. It takes the love and care of a certain earth pony to snap her out of her rut once more.
About:	I wrote this because I adore Lyra & Bon-Bon and really wanted to write something sweet involving them. I thought up many ideas to use, and I used them. I'm quite fond of this short little slice-of-life fiction, and I hope to write more about these two in the future, and maybe even inspire more people to write about them! We need more Lyra & Bon in this fandom, get to it~

Choice Reviews:	NTSTS, Equestria Daily: Sucks that this isn't getting more attention. I felt it was a beautifully written story, albeit a little cliche. I feel like the 'failing musician' trope has been done to death with Lyra, probably due to that one comic that gets thrown around... That being said, the description, emotion, and imagery in the story were beautiful. Some of the dialogue felt a little off character-wise, but the relationship between Lyra and Bonbon came across as totally earnest. The title is an amazing choice of words, and situated very well in the story. I hope we see more from this writer, as they're obviously a talented individual. Something lengthier or more ambitious while still focusing on some kind of character interaction or relationship would be oustanding. Pony In Chief, Equestria Daily: You managed to pull me away from Fallout: Equestria, which is, at the moment, the highest praise I can give. However, my opinion of the story is mixed. Summary:	Twilight calls her friends to the library to assist her in a spell she wants to try out. Her friends freak out when the spell turns out to sound a little more serious than initially assumed. They soon find out, however, that their fears were entirely unfounded.
About:	I originally wrote this in one sitting, wanting to just write something silly that took place in one single scene. I eventually expanded it a little to make it a bit meatier, and felt satisifed. Not a serious project, just a fun, cliche-breaking one-shot. Perhaps I'll do more of these in the future.
