<frameset> Scy Storm the Scyther

Name: Scy Storm
Nickname(s): Scy, Scyscy
Pokémon: Scyther
Age: 23 in human years
Sex, Etc: Male / Bisexual
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 120lbs
Eyes: Sky blue
Skin: Deep Green w/ Red highlights (shiny version)
Parents: Never knew them, though it is known that they were both Scizors
Characteristics: He is the Shiny variety of Scyther. His main green color is a darker green, and a few areas on his body are red. In addition, he has bright Sky Blue eyes, which often mesmerize people who look at them. He also is able to speak fluent English, and is quite intelligent and tall for a Scyther. As for his normal personality, he's witty and sarcastic. He tends to offend more than he does entertain with his sarcasm. Usually, though, he remains short-speeched, or just plain quiet. Despite what he may come off as to most, the few who know him best know that he is really a caring individual.
Physical Features: His color scheme and eyes aside, Scy's most noticeable trait is his arms. Showing unprecedented evolution, his blades reside within his arms, in masses of muscle and tissue that are part of his evolution. They can be sent out at will, are about as wide as a common longsword, and measure about 2'6" in length. Having the blades in his area also allows him the use of hands, complete with opposable thumbs. Finally, Scy has an X scar across his forehead. It is a bright orange color and seems to glow while he battles. No one knows the origin or explanation behind the scar, because Scy refuses to reveal it.
Alignment: Chaotic Good

Story: (for fanfiction/roleplay purposes) A Pokemon lover and aspiring Professor named Kyle Manning came upon an orphaned egg while walking through a wooded area on the way to his home outside of Cherrygrove City in Johto. The egg was in no nest, and appeared to have no trainer or parent guarding it. Reluctantly, the Professor decided to take the egg. After a while of incubation, the egg hatched, revealing a baby Scyther. But the Scyther was strange. It possessed features that Manning had not seen on any other Scyther. He befriended the wild hatchling and studied it. He found it to be of a rare "Shiny" variety. Also, it possessed many human like characteristics, (such as increased height & weight) and was remarkably intelligent. The Scyther actually managed to learn the English language. His most intriguing feature was his scythe blades, which showed evidence of new Pokemon evolution. Instead of having them as hands, they were much smaller, and could actually be contracted inside the Scyther's arms. This gave him actual hands to use.

Word grew of the Scyther, and Manning was under a lot of attention, but he never fell into it, as he never did in the past. He kept the Scyther out of all the attention and taught him the world in his own way. The Scyther was only 6 years old (human years) before a group of vigilantes claiming to be the new Team Rocket showed up to claim him. Manning refused to give anything to the group, and used his own Pokemon to defend himself and his lab. Unfortunately, the Professor's Pokemon were not very experienced. He fell before the criminal group, who went so far as to attack the Professor with their Pokemon. The gifted Scyther made an attempt to defend Manning, but he also was not experienced enough. He was defeated and taken away from the lab by the Team, along with other Pokemon from the lab.

The Scyther (who will henceforth be referred to as Scy) found himself next in a jail cell in an unknown place. All around him were the cries of other captured Pokemon, separated by their species. And it also wasn't long before Scy realized he shared his cell with another Scyther. A female one who had been captured a while before. She called herself Jade. They became acquainted, and she learned of all the features that Scy had strangely been born with, as well as his history with the Professor. She assumed he could not defend himself, as he was young, like her. Indeed he didn't, and she offered to teach him. And so she did, and over time the two fell in love and became mates.

Scy noticed that periodically, the criminals known only as "The New Team Rocket" would take some captured Pokemon away, a lot of which were returned. Jade explained the group was testing them for their power. Several times, she was selected, and returned in an injured state. She had lost the battles on purpose, not wanting to be used as a pawn in their criminal ways. They neglected to heal her after her losses, but she generally healed through time. Scy was angered by this, and after his own selection to fight, put up a good fight before losing on purpose. The Rockets saw how powerful he was, but decided he was not ready. However, they did heal him. Scy had expected this, and he also gained much more battle insight and tactics. For 5 years he was trapped there, fighting, studying, and learning more about the lair he was trapped in. Not only were they inside the base of a mountain, but he also memorized many of the rooms he had been led through. Eventually, he planned an escape. He transferred his plan to Jade, and gave her an escape route to take the next time she was chosen.

But, she was not chosen again. She was too injured after one of her battle, and the Rockets never bothered healing her. Scy fell into a rage. A dangerous rage, in which he lashed away at the bars of the cage, and almost lashed away at Jade. But Jade managed to calm him. Next came Scy's turn to battle again. He vowed to overcome the Rockets and come back to free her and all the other Pokemon. As he made this vow, the Rockets approached. A thunderstorm could be heard outside, and a caged window provided the flashes. Jade took note of the look in Scy's eyes, the flame of his courage and love for her flashing like the thunder outside. Scy had never named himself, so at this time, she gave him her own name: Scy Storm. He was lead away to battle.

In the battle, he tore through several of the Pokemon the Rockets put against him. The Rockets stopped their battle, and decided that Scy would be their new heavy hitter. Scy would have none of it, and he attacked the Rockets himself. He then announced their end. A few Rockets got past the fact that Scy could speak English, and they all unleashed every Pokemon they had to take him out. Scy was able to defeat a few, but found himself overwhelmed. His only way out was to escape, but he couldn't leave Jade and the others behind. Before he could decide what he would do, the lair was infiltrated, by authories. They had found the Rocket hideout and sought to put an end to the criminal organization that had seemingly been ended over 50 years before. Accompanying them was a peace organization called PokeRevolution, the worst enemy of the Rockets. The Rockets focused their attention on the enforcers, and Scy was able to find the keys to the cages.

He returned to the holding area and began to free everyone. As he finally reached Jade, the sound of chaos could be heard. It wasn't long before a Houndoom - a giant one - came into the room. Jade recognized it as Diabolus, the hound that belonged to the leader of Team Rocket. The freed Pokemon sprung to the attack, but Diabolus tore through them with wanton disregard. Scy challenged the Houndoom himself, but he could not defeat it. Much to his surprise, Jade assisted. Diabolus responded with a Fire Blast. Jade fell unconscious, and Scy once again flew into his massive rage. He continued his attack on Diabolus, and managed to injure him, but was ultimately defeated. Before the Houndoom could finish him, and flood of water gushed into the room and took out Diabolus. A man from PokeRevolution with his Swampert came in to the sight of the defeated Pokemon. He and Scy recognized each other: He was Dave, a friend of Professor Manning. Dave decided to get to work on the Pokemon in the room, but he was attacked by Roy, the leader of the Rockets, and Diabolus' owner. As the battle waged on, Scy crawled over to the unconscious Jade, and passed out next to her.

He woke up sometime later in a Pokemon Center, slowly healing. He attempted to get out of the room, but was too weak. Eventually, a supply of curative potions arrived at the center, and Scy was given a rapid healing. He sprung to action and demanded to know where he was. Surprised, the nurse answered he was in Lilycove City, in Hoenn. The Team Rocket hideout not far away was infiltrated, and the Rockets defeated. He was one of the rescued. Scy then demanded to see Jade, but the nurse didn't know who he meant. He sped throughout the Pokemon Center and looked for her, but she was not there. He ended up in the lobby, where he collasped into a seat in despair.

Not long later, he was approached by Dave. Scy asked him where Jade was. Dave picked up that he meant the female Scyther, and explained she was taken to another Pokemon Center, as this one ran out of room. He did not know which one she was taken to. Scy fell into despair again, and Dave managed to cheer him up. Dave was infamous for his skills with Pokemon. He was sure Scy would not be far from her for long. Scy then asked Dave to return him to Professor Manning. Dave then had to tell him that Manning had disappeared. The Rockets stole his Pokemon and a lot of valuables. Manning cleared the rest of his things out of his labratory, and sent something to Dave, which contained a letter to Scy. He gave Scy the letter, in which Manning revealed he had gone into exile. So much attention he had recieved as a Professor had led him into quite enough trouble. But he was sure that Scy, with his gifts, would be strong and courageous by the time he would read this. He felt sure that Scy would overcome any obstacles that came in his way, and one day they would find each other again. With new inspiration, Scy got up to leave the Pokemon Center. Dave stopped him short, and asked him if he'd like to come back to Revolution Headquarters. Scy revealed he would not. He decided to see this world for himself and cut his own path in life. Dave made no objection, and wished him luck.

Scy left Lilycove City, but not before glancing upward toward a mountain. Nothing proved it, but he had a feeling that mountain was the former lair of The Rockets. As he glanced upon it, he coined that his name would be Scy Storm, the very same name that Jade had given him before his fateful fight. After that, he exited the city and began his journey as a Wild Pokemon.

Present Day: Scy spent 12 years wondering the three continents, journeying for almost no reasons, except possibly a hidden desire to find Jade again. During his travels, he made friends with a silver dragon named Orna, but they have since parted ways when she became mature enough. He also learned an extensive knowledge on magic, developing a powerful sorcery which he still tends to use in the right situations. Never did he stop battling or training his natural Pokemon techniques either, and he became a force to be battled with, despite never getting a good chance. He elected to stay away from human contact, staying mostly friendless in the wilderness.
